In short

A reversing manoeuvre into a side road; removed from the UK test in 2017 but common in US road tests.

Reverse around a corner is the classic 'reverse into a side road' manoeuvre. The UK removed it from the practical test in 2017 in favour of pulling up on the right and reversing.

It remains on the syllabus in many US states and is still a useful private-practice manoeuvre for control under low-speed steering.
