In short
The UK driving test includes one of four reversing manoeuvres, chosen at random: parallel parking, forward bay parking, reverse bay parking, or pull up on the right. About 1 in 3 candidates also gets an emergency stop. Practise all four.
Parallel parking
Reversing into a space between two parked cars, ending within 30cm of the kerb.
