In short
Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency — the UK government body that runs the driving test.
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is a UK executive agency of the Department for Transport. It sets and runs the driving theory test and the practical driving test, and licenses driving instructors as ADIs.
The DVSA publishes the test syllabus, the marking sheet (DL25), and the official 'show me, tell me' question bank. It is also the authority that publishes pass-rate statistics for every UK test centre.
