In short
Driving Routes publishes the real routes used in the DVSA ADI Part 2 (driving ability) and Part 3 (instructional ability) tests. Routes are hand-verified by senior ADIs and voice-guided turn-by-turn.
Frequently asked questions
What is the ADI Part 2 test?
Part 2 is the driving-ability test of the three-part Approved Driving Instructor qualification. It's a one-hour test of advanced driving skill — closer to a Pass Plus / IAM-style assessment than the standard learner practical.
What is the ADI Part 3 test?
Part 3 is the instructional-ability test — the examiner role-plays a learner of varying ability and you must instruct them. The driving route used in Part 3 is also examiner-set.
Does Driving Routes cover both Part 2 and Part 3?
Yes — both. Routes used at the DVSA driving examiner centre for the ADI exams are published. ADI access is via the moto/LGV/ADI add-on.
